Print Question??

Posted by Dave Blanchard on the Big Photo Hunt community board.

I have used White Wall Lab to print photos before. My question is, why do the “perfect fit” options not match standard frame sizes that I can purchase and mount myself?

It only shows you the crops that match your uploaded ratio. Its need forever since I used White Wall. Are you saying that if you upload a 4x6 it doesn't show you 8x12 options (as an example)?

I actually just ran into the same thing on SnapFish. Was just running a quick print off so I could look at a proof before deciding to print it and the same thing happened.

Hey Dave. Have you ever looked at getting your own wide format printer? That will save you a ton of headaches.

@[Nisah Cheatham](cf53a09d-1eb6-45e0-b529-06e3bf21aaf4) I was looking to get a larger print 16x24 when I look up frames with matte it shows print size of 16x20 that would then “crop off” 4” of the print.

@[Dave Blanchard](60badebb-280d-435c-9385-fb7d0a12ee50) I kind of lucked out since I manage a print shot. We have a nice 52” HP Latex wide formate that I use sometimes. I’ve looked into getting a smaller 24” or 36” Canon or HP for home but can’t justify the cost right now.
